Design

If correct, you have explored which CBL dimensions have the most potential with the CBL Aspiration Wheel. In your Design Brief you decided on which CBL dimensions you want to focus on. In the subsequent steps, you will first generate ideas and then prioritize them. Depending on the extent of adjustments required for optimization, the process of unfolding a design can take between 1 to 4 months, with a typical commitment of 2-3 hours per week.

Have these design exercises guided by your Teacher Support. They are trained to do this.
And discuss your design it with colleagues as your design is the basis of your course and possibly an important part of the curriculum.

This step will help you generate brilliant ideas on CBL.

TO DO

For this step, you need to organize a brainstorming meeting. Ask your Teacher Support for more information. Download the Course Ideation tool for further instructions.

After generating all these brilliant ideas it is time to prioritize them.

TO DO

Download the Prioritize Tool to start shaping your ideas.

To see how your new design plays out in the learning journey of your students, you can put all the activities in a weekly overview. This will give you input for the development phase and your course schedule.
