Summary of the project
The project titled "Rock Your Baby" has been focusing on transforming the existing Design Based Learning (DBL) course into a Learning Challenge-Based Learning (L-CBL) format. This ongoing change has been targeting first-year students in the Electrical Engineering department, guiding them through the electronic design process and CBL problem-solving phases. The project has also been involving the development of a new modular experimental setup and an online database for active, on-demand learning.
Aim of the project
The aim has been to smoothly transition from the current DBL format to a fully operational L-CBL by the academic year 2021-2022. This shift has been aiming to provide students with increased design freedom and flexibility, characteristic of CBL, while maintaining the same learning goals. The project has been seeking to enhance the educational value by adapting to the characteristics of CBL and preparing students for future challenges in their academic and professional careers.
