E3 Challenge 2
Summary of the project
The E3-Challenge 2 research proposal has been exploring Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) within the E3 framework at TU/e, focusing particularly on smart technology applications. This ongoing study has been investigating how students regulate their learning both individually and in groups, taking into account contextual, relational, and personal resources. The research has been employing a case study approach, continuously analyzing students' self-regulated learning (SRL) and co-regulated learning (CRL) in real-life project scenarios.
Aim of the project
The goal of the project has been to understand and enhance students' learning experiences in CBL contexts, especially in the field of engineering education. By examining the continuous interplay between individual and group learning dynamics, the project has been aiming to provide insights into effective CBL implementation. This research has been contributing to the development of educational strategies that support active and collaborative learning, fostering deeper engagement and problem-solving skills among engineering students.
