Summary of the project
The ‘design your CBL’ tool has been a prototype in which participating teachers have been designing the outline of a CBL educational unit, discussing ideas, and receiving reflection-oriented feedback on their design. The tool has been usable in two different modalities. One mode has been employing physical cards for teams gathered physically, sharing ideas and arguments while jointly designing CBL education. In the other mode, cards have been presented over the internet, where the online system, using AI, has been presenting real-time, theoretically underpinned reflective feedback on the users' currently made design choices.
Aim of the project
The goal of the tool has been to deepen thoughts and arguments concerning the CBL education being designed. The project has aimed to make the tool better and more usable, co-evolve with the progressing insights and definition of the concept of CBL, and become more effective as a tool in professionalizing and empowering teachers.
