Summary of the project
The project from the Department of Electrical Engineering at TU/e has been focusing on establishing a coherent Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) lab across multiple courses in the Photonic Integration Specialization Track. This initiative has been involving a redesign of the current curriculum to incorporate labs that foster deeper engagement with photonic integration and semiconductor technologies, aiming to more cohesively connect theory with practical application.
Aim of the project
The goal of the project has been to provide Electrical Engineering students with a more integrated and immersive learning experience. By bridging the theoretical and practical aspects, the initiative has been seeking to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning, aiming to align with the TU/e Education Strategy 2030 and fostering a collaborative, research-driven educational environment.
