For many teachers, transmitting knowledge can involve the use of different languages: text, equations, animations, programming languages, images and diagrams. For Duarte Antunes, MATLAB® live scripts enabled him to complex concepts in a way that was engaging, interactive and better suited to the online learning environment his students were quickly becoming accustomed to.
Duarte's BOOST! project, entitled 'Teaching, grading and showcasing with live scripts', was one of the first pilots to get approved in 2019. Recently, he wrote an article on this project for Mathworks. In it, he showcases his use of MATLAB® live scripts in the course 'Optimal Control and Dynamic Programming'.
