Maryam Razavian, Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences (IE&IS), introduced her master’s students to Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) for the first time during the first quarter. According to Maryam, this method of learning and working is highly open and involves a lot of uncertainty. And it requires a completely different mindset from both instructors and students. "You need to invest the necessary time and energy. But when it works, the results can be truly impressive," she says.
